2024-25: INDOOR: Ran a personal-best 7.41 second 60m for 20th place at the Wesleyan Indoor Invite (12/07) ... posted a season-best 49.52 in the 400m for fourth place at the NJAC Indoor Championships (2/23) ... leaped 6.60m for eighth place in the long jump at the NYC Gotham Cup (1/17).
OUTDOOR: Opened the season with a personal-best 6.71m long jump for bronze at the Ramapo Track & Field Invitational (3/28) ... secured 10th place with a season-best 22.24 finish in the 200m at the NJAC Outdoor Championships (5/4) ... tabbed 48.21 seconds in the 400m for 10th place at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships (5/15) ... tooke home gold with a 48.32 finish in the 400m at the NJAC Outdoor Championships ... first 400m NJAC Champion in program history.


2023-24: Competed in seven meets during indoors and six during outdoors ... PRed in the 400m (51.77) at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic (1/26-27) ... finished second in the 400m (52.11) and third in the long jump (6.20m) at the Ursinus Track and Field Festival (4/5-6) ... PRed in the long jump (6.66m) at the 2024 Widener Final Qualifier (5/13) ... was a part of the 4x800 team that finished with a time of 8:26.11 to break the program record at the AARTFC Outdoor Championship (5/15-16).

2022-23: Competed in nine meets during indoors and four during outdoors as a freshman ... collegiate debut with a 23.97 in the 200m at the FastTrack Opener (12/2) ... debuted in the long jump (5.81) and 300m (37.83) at the Seahawk Shootout (12/9) ... PRed in the 200m (23.55) at the John Thomas Terrier Classic (1/27-28) ... PRed in the long jump (6.22m) to place second overall at the NYU DIII Invitational (2/3) ... competed in three events at his first NJACs (2/20), including being part of the fifth-place DMR (10:58.60) ... debuted in the 400m (53.52) at the Ramapo Invite (3/31-4/1) ... PRed in the 400m (52.40) at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic (4/14-15).

High School: A 2022 graduate of University Academy Charter High School ... a three-year track & field team member ... captain as a senior ... two-year basketball team member ... captain as a senior ... also a two-year football team member.

Personal: Son of Palmy Jovial and Alphonse Charles ... has a brother Zal, who is a jumper at Ramapo College ... enjoys running and lifting ... chose NJCU for the scholarship opportunities.
