2013 Season Highlights: (1/26 vs. Brooklyn): Hit a stellar .480 with 15 winners and just three errors (25 attempts), adding seven digs and two aces. (1/26 vs. CCNY): Buried 16 kills (16-7-33) and hit .273 while stuffing five blocks, including a pair of solo rejections. (1/26 vs. Wentworth): Had eight digs, seven kills and four service aces. (1/29 @ York): Posted a match-high in kills with 19 (19-6-36), nine digs and three service aces. (2/2 vs. Mount Saint Vincent): Had four kills (4-1-9, .333) and a solo stuff in one and a half sets. (2/2 vs. Sage): Slammed 13 winners (13-5-32), hit .250 and added four blocks. (2/6 vs. #8 Baruch): Hit .348 with just three errors (23 attempts) while adding 11 kills and two blocks. (2/7 vs. NYU-Poly): Finished with eight kills (8-5-19, .158), eight digs, six service aces and two blocks. (2/12 @ Kean): Had a team-high nine kills, three service aces and two solo blocks. (2/27 vs. Ramapo): Had five kills, six digs and two blocks. (3/2 vs. Purchase): Had a match-high nine kills and hit .583 with four blocks. (3/2 vs. Mount Saint Vincent): Finished with 10 kills versus two errors (17 attempts) while adding seven digs and five aces. (3/8 vs. Lasell @ York College Tournament): Planted 23 winners, including an incredible 10 kills without an error on 14 attempts in the opening set (.714). Overall he hit .340 with only seven errors on 47 attempts. (3/9 vs. Wells @ York College Tournament): Collected six kills and uncorked five service aces. (3/9 vs. York @ York College Tournament): Crushed 25 kills (25-14-67, .164) while defending 12 digs and rejecting eight blocks (three solo). (3/9 vs. Lancaster Bible @ York College Tournament): Had a match-high 19 kills (19-12-45, .156) and defended 11 digs with two blocks. (3/15 vs. Daniel Webster @ 2013 Wildcats Invitational): Powered down 20 kills while adding five digs, two aces and one solo block. (3/15 vs. Wentworth @ 2013 Wildcats Invitational): Slammed down 28 kills along while adding nine digs, five assists and two blocks (one solo). (3/20 vs. #6 Stevens): Posted a match-best 13 kills (13-12-39, .026) with six digs. (3/26 vs. Hunter): Hit .333 with 25 kills (eight errors, 51 attempts) while adding 10 digs, three blocks (one solo) and two service aces. (3/30 @ #11 NYU): Hit .179 with 12 winners (12-7-28), 10 digs and two service aces. (4/2 vs. #6 New Paltz): (4/2 vs. #6 New Paltz): Notched eight kills, finishing with a line of 8-5-23, adding three digs and two solo blocks. (4/7 vs. Yeshiva): Uncorked four service aces in six attempts. (4/7 vs. #14 Kean): Hit .217 with 10 kills on 23 attempts (five errors), adding one solo block. (4/13 vs. #14 Kean - Skyline Conference Semifinals): Had a team-best nine kills (9-6-26, .115) and two blocks.

2012 Season Highlights: (01/23/2012 @ NYU Polytechnic) Finished with a match-high 14 kills (14-4-20) with a .500 attack percentage, six digs and one solo block in his collegiate debut. (01/25/2012 vs. York College) Slammed a match-high 14 kills for the second straight match to open his career.  Hit .231 (14-8-26) with 5 digs and 2 aces. (01/28/2012 vs. Ramapo): Pounded a match-high 15 kills and hit .118 (15-11-34) and had two aces and three assists. (01/28/2012 vs. Kean University): Slammed a match and career-high 22 kills in 49 attempts (11 errors) for a .224 percentage, while defending 10 digs and blocking two balls for his first career double-double. (1/31/2012 @ NJIT): Hit .160 (11-7-25) with three aces and four digs. (2/8/2012 @ Ramapo): Hit .278 with 11 kills (11-6-18), five digs and two blocks. (2/10/2012 @ Hunter): Reached double figures in kills for the seventh consecutive time with a match-high in winners for the sixth time, finishing with 10 kills, a .238 percentage (10-5-21) and five digs. (2/12/2012 vs. Yeshiva): Slammed 16 kills and hit .370 (16-6-27), while adding seven digs and three service aces. (2/12/2012 @ Purchase): Slammed six kills and hit .364 (6-2-11) in just two sets of action. (2/18/2012 vs. Juniata): Had a match-high 10 digs to equal a career best and finished with seven kills and two blocks. (2/18/2012 @ Stevens): Had nine kills (9-6-27, .111) and two blocks. (2/19/2012 vs. Lehman): Finished with 19 winners with a .282 percentage (19-8-39), six digs and three blocks. Also reached double figures in kills for the 10th time in 13 matches this year and had the match-high in kills for a ninth time. (2/19/2012 vs. Bard): Had match-highs with 14 kills and 12 digs, hitting .182 (14-8-33) with four of NJCU's 12 service aces and two blocks.  (2/21/2012 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Had a match-high 19 kills, hit .279 (19-7-43) and added seven digs, three blocks and two service aces. (2/23/2012 vs. Yeshiva): Had a match-best 14 kills against just four errors (24 attempts) for a .417 attack rate, and added two aces. (2/27/2012 @ Sage): Slammed a match-high 20 kills, while adding six digs and two digs. (3/4/2012 vs. NYU Poly): Hit .381 with 10 winners (10-2-21) and five blocks. (3/4/2012 @ Mount Saint Vincent): Had eight kills, seven digs and four blocks. (4/1/2012 vs. Kean): Hammered home 14 kills, hit .286 (14-6-28), and added seven digs and two blocks. (4/1/2012 vs. Sage): Slammed 20 kills and hit .297 (20-9-37) while defending a career-best 18 digs with three service aces and three blocks. (4/3/2012 vs. Mount Saint Vincent): Slammed a match-best 13 kills and hit .296 (13-5-27) with five digs. (4/6/2012 @ New Paltz): Slammed a match-best 14 kills with nine digs, two blocks and two aces, hitting .108 (14-10-37). (4/14/2012 vs. Ramapo): Smashed a match-high 20 kills and added 12 digs for his fifth double-double of the season while hitting .262 (20-9-42) with five service aces, three blocks. 

Rodgers on Arslani: “He is the hardest worker on the team and has tremendous leadership skills as a freshman. If everyone on the team isn’t pushing themselves in practice, he’ll let them know about it. All he wants to do is win and he knows that the entire team has to play well in order for us to do that; thus, he not only pushes himself, he pushes the whole team to get better. Bez is a solid hitter that has the fastest arm on the team and a block that can consistently scare some right side hitters on the opposite team.”
 
High School:  A June 2011 graduate of Wayne Valley High School in Wayne, NJ…Played four seasons of volleyball (three varsity) for Coach Jason Carcich…The top player in Wayne Valley history with a school record of 814 kills in three seasons, Arslani was a two-time Second-Team All-State selection as a junior (2010) and senior (2011), a three-time First-Team All-Passaic County standout (2009-11), and the 2010 North Jersey Player of the Year by the Bergen Record…Arslani led Wayne Valley to its first-ever Passaic County tournament title in 2010…That season, the Indians went 27-2, were ranked #10 in the state and #3 in North Jersey, and won 20 consecutive matches before falling to Fair Lawn in the North Section 1 state final…He finished his junior season with 340 kills, 69 aces and 25 blocks…As a senior, he led the Indians to a 21-5 record, a No. 19 state ranking and a fifth-place ranking in the final North Jersey poll…Wayne Valley captured its second straight county championship…He finished the year with 247 kills, 85 service points, 37 aces, and 30 blocks…Among the Wayne Valley records he owns are the single-match record of 28 kills, including 14 from behind the backrow, accomplished against Passaic Valley in the 2010 county semifinals…Was named the Star Ledger’s Top Performer of the Week on May 12, 2011…He amassed 227 kills (.450 attack percentage) in limited action as a sophomore, helping the Indians to an 18-7 record and a spot in the state tournament quarterfinals…Did not play volleyball until high school…Three-year high school record was an incredible 66-14…He also played club volleyball for Warren Six-Pak, considered New Jersey’s premier national volleyball club for boys…
