2013 Season Highlights: (1/26 vs. Brooklyn): Hit .333 with 12 kills (12-4-24). (1/26 vs. CCNY): Hit .471 with nine kills and only one error (17 attempts), adding six digs. (1/29 @ York): Provided 22 assists and 11 kills at a .360 accuracy rate (two errors, 25 attempts), adding six digs and three blocks. (2/2 vs. Mount Saint Vincent): Hit .545 with six kills and no errors (11 attempts), adding 12 assists and seven digs. (2/2 vs. Sage): Hit at a .312 rate with six kills (6-1-16), adding 10 assists, six digs and three service aces. (2/6 vs. #8 Baruch): Tallied 13 assists, six kills and two blocks. (2/7 vs. NYU-Poly): Hit .348 with 12 kills and only four attack errors (23 attempts) while adding 12 assists. (2/12 @ Kean): Finished with nine assists and five kills (5-5-14). (2/17 vs. Ramapo): Registered 13 kills (13-10-45, .067) and a season-high 16 digs. (2/19 vs. Yeshiva): Collected four kills and a pair of aces. (2/23 vs. Lehman): Added a .467 percentage with eight kills versus one error (15 attempts), with six digs, two aces and two blocks. (2/23 vs. Penn State-Behrend): Obliterated a career-high 24 kills while adding eight digs, five assists and two blocks. (2/23 vs. Gallaudet): Delivered 12 assists in 21 attempts for a .571 setting percentage, while unleashing four aces. (2/27 vs. Ramapo): Had a team-high six kills and seven digs. (3/8 vs. Lasell @ York College Tournament): Delivered a season-high 43 assists for a .403 percentage (107 attempts), stuffed a career-high six blocks and landed five kills (5-1-16, .250). (3/9 vs. Wells @ York College Tournament): Delivered 18 assists and 12 digs while adding six kills in 10 attempts (one error) for a .500 attack rate. (3/9 vs. York @ York College Tournament): Finished with 36 assists and 13 digs. (3/9 vs. Lancaster Bible @ York College Tournament): Finished with 11 kills (11-4-38, .184), six digs and two blocks. (3/15 vs. Daniel Webster @ 2013 Wildcats Invitational): Provided 35 assists while rejecting three blocks. (3/15 vs. Wentworth @ 2013 Wildcats Invitational): Finished with 49 assists, seven digs and three blocks. (3/20 vs. #6 Stevens): Hit .375 with eight kills (8-2-16), 22 assists and five digs. (3/26 vs. Hunter): Registered 37 assists, 14 kills (14-6-41, .195), nine digs, four blocks (three solo) and two aces with a .514 setting percentage. (3/30 @ #11 NYU):  Had five kills and 11 assists. (4/2 vs. #6 New Paltz): Tallied seven assists and five digs. (4/4 vs. Purchase): Smacked 16 kills and only four errors in 26 attempts, while contributing seven digs, five service aces, two blocks and two assists. (4/7 vs. #14 Kean): Delivered 13 assists, seven kills, six digs and two blocks (one solo). (4/13 vs. #14 Kean - Skyline Conference Semifinals): Delivered 16 assists, seven kills, five digs and one block.

2012 Highlights: (01/23 @ NYU Polytechnic): Dished out 30 assists with two blocks in his first game since 2009. Also hit .333 with four kills (4-1-9). (01/25 vs. York College): Posted a .468 set percentage with 29 assists, five service aces and two blocks. (1/28 vs. Ramapo): Delivered 28 assists. (1/28 vs. Kean): Delivered 39 assists, seven kills (7-2-18, .278), seven digs and three blocks. (1/31 @ NJIT): Dished 15 assists with six digs and two blocks (one solo.) Also, finished with five kills (5-2-16, .188). (2/8 @ Ramapo): Finished with 11 kills (11-7-28, .143) and six digs. (2/10 @ Hunter): Hit .333 with seven kills (7-2-15), 12 assists and four digs. (2/12 vs. Yeshiva): Delivered 21 assists, three aces and three kills and posted a .600 setting percentage in just 35 attempts. (2/12 @ Purchase): Delivered 19 assists and a .487 set percentage and offensively chalked up five kills and a .333 accuracy rate (5-2-9). Also added a match-high four aces and five digs. (2/18 vs. Juniata): Had 15 assists and five kills. (2/18 @ Stevens): Reached double digits in kills for the third time in his career while notching his 10th career double-double. Slugged a match and career-high 12 kills, hit .381 with only four errors (21 attempts), 21 assists, a .429 set percentage and five digs. (2/19 vs. Lehman): Notched his second straight double-double and 11th of his career while registering a career high in kills with 14. Also, hit .281 with 14 kills (14-5-32) and delivered 27 assists on a .466 set percentage. (2/19 vs. Bard): Notched his third straight double-double, not making an error in 21 attempts and floored 12 kills for a .571 attack percentage, while delivering 26 assists and six digs. (2/21 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Became the first NJCU player in five years to notch a triple-double in a match, finishing with 28 assists, 14 kills, and 10 digs, while posting an impressive attack percentage of .448 with just one error (29 attempts), and an accurate setting rate of .444. (2/23 vs. Yeshiva): Hit .571 with eight kills and no errors (14 attempts), dished 30 assists with a .492 setting percentage, and landed three of NJCU's nine service aces. (2/27 @ Sage): Became the first player on record in school history to produce two triple doubles in the same season, finishing with 30 assists, a career high 16 kills and 12 digs. (3/4 vs. NYU Poly): Finished with eight kills (8-3-21, .238), six digs and four blocks. (3/4 @ Mount Saint Vincent): Finished with eight kills (11 errors), six digs, two blocks and two aces. (4/1/2012 vs. Kean): Became the fourth player in school history to record 2,000 career assists. Delivered 20 assists, eight kills (8-6-19, .278), six digs and two blocks in the match.  (4/1/2012 vs. Sage): Delivered 40 assists and added seven kills and a .235 attack rate (7-3-17) with a solo block. (4/3/2012 vs. Mount Saint Vincent): Provided 20 assists and six digs. (4/6/2012 @ New Paltz): Finished with 17 assists, eight kills, a .263 attack rate (8-3-19), six digs and two blocks. (4/14/2012 vs. Ramapo): Tallied his eighth double-double of the season and 17th of his career, finishing with 25 assists, 13 kills, three blocks and three digs.

For the season, who has split time between setter and outside hitter, is averaged 9.69 assists, with 407 assists on 1,133 attempts, while starting all 11 matches. He has added 1.81 digs (76), 1.48 points, 0.33 blocks (2-12-14), and 0.36 service aces (15) per game. He has also contributed 39 kills (39-21, 131, .137), 0.93 per game... (2/14 vs. SUNY-New Paltz): The Metro Division Rookie of the Week—distributed 40 assists while adding three blocks... (02/17 vs. SUNY New Paltz): Registered a double-double with 22 assists and 12 digs... (02/17 vs. Emmanuel College): Dished 42 assists, seven digs and five blocks... (02/19 vs. Polytechnic University): Dished out 25 assists in two games, adding four blocks...  (02/27 at Mount St. Vincent): Delivered a career-high 64 assists and added 15 digs for his fourth double-double, as NJCU hit .205 as a team with 73 kills (73-37-176)... (03/04 vs. Lancaster Bible College): Started the match at middle blocker, moved to outside hitter and finished the contest as the team’s setter—his primary position this season—and collected 10 kills (10-6-34, .118), nine digs, seven assists, three blocks and two aces... (03/06 vs. Hunter College): Set 28 assists, eight digs and two blocks but NJCU hit just .084 overall and had 33 kills... (03/08 vs. #4 Vassar College): Collected 27 assists... (03/20 at Ramapo College): Registered 25 assists... (03/25): Has been voted the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Metro Division Rookie of the Week for week 10 of the 2008 season, in voting by the divisions’ 10 head coaches. It is the second time this season he has earned the the award and the fourth time in 10 weeks it has gone to an NJCU freshman. In a season where he saw most of his time as the team's setter, but also played outside hitter and even middle blocker at 5-foot-5 due to his leaping ability of nearly 40 inches, he finished the year averaging 9.23 assists and 2.05 digs per game. In 91 games, he had 840 assists, 187 digs, 46 blocks (8 solo, 38 assisted, 0.51 per game), 80 kills (80-45-271), a .129 hitting percentage, and 25 aces. He averaged 1.45 points per game...

High School: A June 22, 2007 graduate of Bayonne High School in Bayonne, NJ…A three-sport athlete for the Bees, played three seasons of varsity volleyball for Coach Patricia Longo…The 2007 H.C.I.A.A. Player of the Year, he was a two-time First-Team All-Hudson County selection as a junior and senior and named Second-Team All-State in 2007 as a senior at outside hitter…Named MVP of the 2007 H.C.I.A.A. championship match against St. Peter’s Prep, won by Bayonne…Led the Bees to the 2006 and 2007 HCIAA titles, defeating St. Peter’s Prep each season…On the court for every post-season game played by Bayonne in his career…Led Bayonne to the 2007 NJSIAA state semifinals and the No. 2 overall seed in the North bracket, before falling to St. Peter’s Prep in the North final (25-17, 25-20)…Played in the 2007 New Jersey State Coaches Association boys volleyball All-Star showcase, starting as an outside hitter…Finished career with 564 kills, 542 digs, 294 blocks and 128 service aces…Also played three years of basketball for Coach Jack Hladik (2005-07) and one year of football for Coach Frank Blunder.

Personal: Justin Cupid Beaumont…Born January 22, 1988 in Towsen, MD…Parents are Amy Gross-Stuart and Mark Stuart (step-father)…Has three brothers…Has a three-year-old daughter, Isabel…Major at NJCU is Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology…Career goal is to work in law enforcement, preferably with kids, and continuing coaching volleyball…Currently is the assistant women’s volleyball coach at Bloomfield College and coaches a 17s girls national volleyball team for the Phoenix Volleyball Club in Wayne, NJ…Can hit with both left and right arms equally well…Despite being 5-foot-7, competes with a nearly 40-inch vertical…Lists his idol as Leonel Marshall of the Cuban National Men’s Volleyball team, who is famous for a 50-inch vertical…Enjoys reading and cooking…Is considered an excellent cook…Recovering from a fractured right epicondyle (bone at the end of your elbow), which he fractured in four placed three months before the start of the 2008 season…Only person in his family who plays sports; rest of family are musicians.
