Biography

2021: Appeared in 10 games, making five starts … scored a run against Rutgers-Newark (4/17) and Stockton (5/1).

2020: Appeared in one game in her first season with the team, scoring a run vs. Holy Family (3/12), before the year was ended early due to COVID.

2019: Attended NJCU but was not a member of the softball program.

High School: A 2018 graduate of County Prep High School ... one-year varsity basketball team member … was also a one-year varsity member of the swimming and softball teams.

Personal: Daughter of Norma and Dionisio Ruiz … is the middle child with six siblings, Ivelisse, Ivette, Jackie, JJ, Haley and Michael … sisters Ivelisse and Ivette also graduated from NJCU … pursuing a career as a police officer or firefighter … has never broken a bone in her body and can juggle ... also a member of the Gothic Knights’ women’s basketball team in the Winter.
