2007 Highlights: (03/14 vs. Regis College at Cocoa Expo): In just the second start of her career, the rookie became the fourth different pitcher in NJCU softball history to fire a no-hitter, and registered the sixth no-no overall in program history as she struck out eight batters and walked three behind an errorless defense to improve to 1-1 on the season, additionally she doubled to knock in the eventual game-winning run in the first inning... (03/26 vs. Centenary College): In seven complete innings she allowed no earned runs (one total) and scattered four hits, all from the fourth inning on. She added five strikeouts and four walks, improving to 2-4 overall earning the win...(03/31 vs. Rutgers University-Camden): 1-for-3 with a double. In game two she tossed a complete-game effort for NJCU, allowing four runs and eight hits, with four strikeouts and two walks...(04/03 vs. Kean University): Gave herself a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the top of the first inning and made that lead standup as she was brilliant for most of the game. Trogdon who tossed a no-hitter earlier in the season, held the Cougars hitless until Schultz led off the sixth with a bloop single. In game two, 1-for-2 with two RBIs and took the hard luck loss (2-7), despite allowing just three earned runs (four total) and nine hits with four Ks and two walks. Eight of Kean’s hits were singles... (04/05 vs. Baruch College): Registered eight strikeouts in a complete-game two-hitter in the nightcap. Masterful, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning before it was broken up with one out. In 7.0 innings, she allowed no earned runs (one total) and two hits, fanning eight against two walks for the win (3-7). At first base in the opener, was 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI...(04/06 vs. John Jay College): Tossed a complete-game four-hit shutout. She struck out six and walked three, allowing only four singles. She stranded 11 Bloodhounds over the course of the game to earn the win (4-7)... (04/19 vs. Montclair State University): Took the loss for NJCU (4-11) in game one...(04/10 vs. William Paterson University): Cooled off the Pioneers' bats, as they had five fewer hits (7) and drove in
seven fewer runs (3) than in game one pitched five innings of one-hit, shutout softball allowing just two earned runs (three total) and seven hits, with four strikeouts and three walks, but took the loss (4-10)... (04/21 vs. The College of New Jersey): In game one, she was two of NJCU’s three hits, finishing 2-for-3. NJCU’s starting pitcher in game two, and only allowed one earned run, but six total marks as the Knights’ defense faltered. She walked two and allowed eight singles in defeat (4-12). At the plate, she had one of NJCU’s two hits... (04/24 at Ramapo College): Had single hits for NJCU and was the starting pitcher in game two, taking the loss (4-13)...(04/26 vs. College of Staten Island): Started the game at first base, and offensively went 1-for-4 with two RBIs. But her most valuable contribution was on the mound. In relief, she pitched three perfect innings, retiring all nine batters she faced, with four strikeouts, to earn the win (5-13)... (04/30 at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham): Posted one of the top pitching performances of her young career, tossing a complete-game three-hitter with six strikeouts and three walks to earn the win (6-14)...(05/08): Named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Week for week 10 of the 2007 season. Overall this season, Trogdon ranks third in the NJAC in strikeouts (87), fourth in games started (19), fifth in strikeouts per game (5.57), tied for sixth in appearances (21), ninth in batters truck out looking (16), and 10th in innings pitched (109.1). She is also third in the league in fielding double plays (7)...
