Ray Addas '05 (B.A.) '09 (M.A.) joined the Gothic Knights as head coach of the women's bowling program prior to the 2023-24 season. Addas came to the Green and Gold from Union City High School, where he amassed two New Jersey State Championships, four Hudson County Titles and seven North Hudson League Championships.

Addas rejoined to his alma mater after serving as head coach at UCHS. While there, he piled up 85 victories to just 15 losses over eight seasons at the helm. He guided the careers of 17 All-Hudson County bowlers and was named HCIAL (Hudson County Interscholastic Athletic League) Coach of the Year in 2014. In addition to his 13 various championships, Addas was inducted into the Union City Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023.

Currently residing in West Miflord, N.J., Addas is a son of Jersey City through and through, having been born and raised here. He initially graduated cum laude from NJCU in 2005 with a bachelor of arts degree in English literature and secondary education before returning for his master of arts in educational leadership, which he graduated with magna cum laude in 2009.
