2015 Season Highlights: (3/7 vs. Aurora): Was the lone Gothic Knigh player with multiple hits - the 98th and 99th of his career - including a double. (3/7 vs. St. John Fisher): Became the 38th member of the NJCU 100-hit club with an eight-inning double. 

2014 Season Highlights: (3/2 @ Wesley): led off with a single and scored on a groundout in the fifth.. scored on three wild pitches...(3/8 vs. Juniata): had an RBI for the first NJCU run of the game...(3/10 vs. St. Joseph's College ME):  had an RBI single that scored the lone NJCU run...(3/11 vs. RPI): scored twice, going 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI...walked with one out, stole second and scored on a two-out single by Niech to tie the game in the 8th...(3/27 @ Drew): went 3-for-6 with two runs and one RBI...(4/5 @ Rutgers-Newark-game 1): had two hits...(4/10 vs. Stockton):  was on base four times, batting 2-for-2 with two walks...(4/12 @ Kean-game 1): hit a two-run single to left center in the fourth inning, bringing in NJCU's only runs...(4/17 @ Rowan): collected two hits...(4/19 vs. William Paterson):  singled with one out in the ninth....(4/24 @ Ramapo): scored twice and had an RBI triple...(4/21 @ Stevens):  batted 2-for-5...(4/25 vs. Ramapo): was 2-for-4...(4/26 @ Montclair State-game 1): batted 2-for-4...(4/26 @ Montclair State-game 1): singled and scored... (4/27 @ Moravian-game 2): was 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI, coming on a game-tying solo home run to left in the top of the third...(5/2 @ Centenary): scored three runs and was 2-for-5 with one RBI in a leadoff role...(5/6 @ FDU-Florham): drove in the second run on a sacrifice fly to right in the fifth...tripled down the right field line—his 97th career hit—before scoring on a double to left center in the seventh...


2013 Season Highlights: (2/16 @ Washington & Lee - Game 1): Was 1-for-3 with an RBI triple and a run scored. (2/16 @ Washington & Lee - Game 2): Had a run and RBI, while also registering his first career save by entering in the bottom of the eighth inning and struck out two versus two walks while recording the final four outs of the game. (2/24 @ Centenary (NJ) - Game 1): Started the game at first base and earned his first career pitching decision (1-0) by allowing just two singles with a strikeout and walk over 29 pitches. (2/24 @ Centenary (NJ) - Game 2): Hit a grand slam on a 2-for-3 effort with one run. (3/9 vs. Penn State-Abington @ Russ Matt Spring Break Invitational): Was 2-for-4 with a double and run scored. (3/21 vs. Old Westbury): Produced two RBIs in a 2-for-4 effort. (4/2 vs. FDU-Florham): Batted 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. He started the game in right field before pitching in the final two innings, striking out two against just one hit. (4/11 @ Richard Stockton): Was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. (4/18 vs. Rowan): Was 2-for-3 with one RBI. (4/25 vs. #19/21 Ramapo): Was 2-for-4. (4/26 @ #19/21 Ramapo): Was 2-for-5 with one RBI.

2012 Highlights: (3/10 vs. Daniel Webster @ Russ Matt Invitational): Went 3-for-4 with two steals. (3/12 vs. Rhode Island College @ Russ Matt Invitational): Added one RBI and made 10 putouts defensively. (3/13 vs. Lesley @ Russ Matt Invitational): Produced two RBIs in the win. (3/15 vs. Mount Saint Mary (NY) @ Russ Matt Invitational): Drove in three runs, batting 3-for-4 with two runs and a two-run homerun. (3/16 vs. Framingham State @ Russ Matt Invitational): Went 1-for-2 with one RBI in game one. (3/22 vs. St. Joseph's - Brooklyn): Knocked in two RBIs in a 1-for-3 effort. (4/1 vs. Rutgers-Newark): Posted a 2-for-4 effort with his second homerun of the season, one run and one RBI in game two. (4/6 @ William Paterson): Had one RBI on his sixth sac fly of the season. (4/20 @ TCNJ): Started the game at first base and concluded his day on the mound, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out a batter in an inning and a third. (4/21 vs. Rowan): Slugged his third homerun of the season in the second inning of game two. (4/27 vs. Montclair): Had a double for NJCU. (4/28 @ Richard Stockton): Notched his seventh sacrifice fly of the season, tying for the second most in a season in program history. In game two, he pitched and allowed two runs and four hits with two strikeouts, giving up his first earned run of the season. 

Before NJCU:  Attended Saint Peter’s College (Division I) during the 2010-11 academic year and was redshirted on the baseball team…Was recruited as a pitcher…
 
High School:  A June 2010 graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School (JFK-Iselin) in Iselin, NJ…He was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and baseball…He played four seasons of baseball (three varsity) for the Mustangs, playing for current NJCU head coach Jerry Smith…He also played three seasons of football (two varsity) for Coach Rich Nyers and two years of basketball (one varsity) for Coach Chris Banos….Weinstein was a 2010 Second-Team All-Middlesex County selection in baseball and earned All-Greater Middlesex Conference and GMC division honors…He was a junior on the 2009 New Jersey Group III state championship and the North II, Group II state sectional title-winning teams at JFK-Iselin and helped the Mustangs to GMC division titles in 2008 and 2009…Weinstein owns the single-season school record with 49 RBIs…He played in the 2010 Middlesex County senior all-star game.
