Before his time at SCAD, Margiasso led the Nightingale-Bamford School — a prestigious all-girls prep school in New York City — to a perfect season and City Championship in 2017-18.

What They're Saying:
"It might sound a little cliché, but becoming the new coach at NJCU is really a dream job for me and my family. I've worked and lived all over the world but my roots are all in the greater New York-New Jersey area, so coming back to focus on building a college tennis program at home at a university on the rise is really coming full circle."
- Nick Margiasso
“We are excited to welcome Nick Margiasso into the NJCU athletics family as our new men’s and women’s tennis coach. Nick comes to Jersey City with good experience at two different levels of collegiate tennis. With his teaching background, knowledge of the game, communication skills and recruiting network, he has the pedigree and hunger to build a competitive tennis program. He has already hit the ground running and we anticipate continual growth of the program as we debut in Fall 2020, and in years ahead.”
