2007-08 Highlights: (12/05 at CTC Relay Indoor Carnival Classic, hosted by Yale University): Ran theĀ opening leg for the 4x200 relay, which placed first overall of eight teams with a time of 1:51, 84/100th of a second faster than second place and Division I Sacred Heart University, and easily eclipsed the ECAC Championship qualifying standard of 1:52.94. Ran theĀ first leg for the 4x400 relay, which placed fifth of eight teamsĀ with a time ofĀ 4:46.50...(12/05): Named the first New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week of the 2007-08 season...(12/12 at Seton Hall University Games): Broke a nearly seven-year old school record in the 800-meter run by more than four seconds, as she finished fifth of 20 athletes in 2:29.36...Ā  (02/26 atĀ 2008 NJAC Indoor Championships): Voted co-Outstanding Female Track Athlete of the Year as she earned All-NJAC honors in four events.Ā  Ran the opening leg in the 4x400-meter relay which placed second of seven inĀ a time ofĀ 4:06.92—just 88/100th of a second out of first place, the team earned Second-Team All-NJAC honors. She also ran the second leg of the 4x200-meter relay which took the gold in an ECAC qualifying time of 1:47.02—1.21 seconds faster than the second team in the five-school meet. She won the 400-meter dash in an ECAC qualifying time of 59.49, crossing the tape 1.37 seconds faster than the 14-woman field. She also finished third in the long jump, just one centimeter behind Brown, landing 5.21 meters, to also qualify for the ECACs while earning All-NJAC distinction. The ECAC mark is 5.00 meters... (02/27): Selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track Rookie of the Week... (02/29 at NYU Fastrack Invitational): Became the second Gothic Knight women’s track and field athlete to qualify for the 2008 NCAA Championship this season as sheĀ  ran the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.25, which eclipsed the school record of 58.41 the NCAA standard is 58.70.Ā  With that time she placed 17th of 66 overall in the final standings, but third of 19 Division III athletes. Ran the opening leg in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:04.43 seconds to easily better the ECAC qualifying time of Ā 4:12.24, placing 14th... (03/04): Has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track Rookie of the Week... (04/07 at Opsrey Open):Ā  Placed second of 30 in the 400-meter dash with a time 56.93 seconds in her first meet of the year. Her time easily exceeded the NCAA provisional standard of 57.50. In total she competed in five events in all and qualified for the NCAA or ECAC championships in each. Other than the two relays and the 400-meters, she was fifth overall in the 200-meters in 25.90, and fourth of 24 in the long jump, landing 5.12 meters (16-9.75). Ran the first leg of the 400x100-meter relay which placed first of 11 schools with a time of 48.10 seconds. The winning time, 37/100th of a second better than the field, was also an NCAA provisional qualifying result (48.65 seconds). Ran the final leg of the 4x400-meter relay which placed second of 18 school with a time of 4:04.05, which qualified for the ECACs (4:11.24)... (04/07): Has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for week three of the 2008 women’s outdoor track and field season, after she qualified for the NCAA or ECAC Championships in all five events she competed in at the Osprey Open in Pomona, NJ on April 5. She posted the fourth fastest time in the country this year in the 400-meter dash...(04/25 at 114th Penn Relays; Hosted by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field): Ran the opening leg in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:42.62 placing 38th of 46 schools in the predominantly Division I field and seventh of nine in heat one, but second among three Division III entrants. Ran the opening leg in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 48.84 seconds which plaved NJCU eighth of nine in its heat and 65th of 85 overall, but second of nine Division III schools. Ran the final leg in the 4x400-meter relay timing 4:01.22 which placed seventh of nine teams in heat seven, 71st of 83 schools overall, and second among six Division III entrants... (05/19 at ECAC Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships; Springfield College): Took home gold in the 400-meter dash of 32 athletesĀ with a time ofĀ 57.48 seconds, winning by 7/100th of a second. She will run for the NCAA crown in the 400-meter dash as they represent the NJCU women’s track program at the 2008 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Thursday-Saturday, May 22-24 in Oshkosh, WI...
