Hailey Cancelleri joined the New Jersey City University women's wrestling program as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2023-24 season.
A 2023 graduate of King University with a degree in nursing, she was a three-year member of the Tornado's powerhouse NCAA women's wrestling program. Wrestling primarily at 155 pounds, Cancelleri amassed 27 victories and helped King placed third at the 2019-20 NWCA National Duals.
She was also a 2014 graduate of Curtis High School in Staten Island. Cancelleri was an eight-time high school All-American, three-time state champion and four-time city champion.
