Aracelli Carranza is the NJCU Women’s Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career and was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the first time.

In a dominant 12-0 win over Medgar Evers, Carranza had the most efficient day, notching six points on two goals and two assists in just 32 minutes of action and all five of her shots were on goal—a 1.000 shot percentage.

The team co-captain assisted on the second goal in the 22nd minute, scored the third goal early in the 24th minute, assisted on the fifth goal just 81 seconds later in the 26th minute, then capped her day with a brace late in the 29th minute.
