New Jersey City University led 19-2 early in the first half but couldn't hold off a Rowan University squad that shot 69.6 percent (16-23), including a perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range as the Profs overcame a huge deficit and the Gothic Knights, 73-69, in New Jersey Athletic Conference men's basketball on December 6 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.

Rowan (6-1, 3-1 NJAC) won its third straight game as it shot 54.9 percent from the field overall in the contest (28-51), and a scintillating 7-of-12 from three-point distance (.583) after making just 1-of-6 from long range in the opening 20 minutes.

NJCU (2-5, 1-3 NJAC) dropped its third straight and falls to 1-3 at home in what was the final game in Jersey City of the 2014 portion of the schedule.
