The Roadrunners got on the board in the eighth minute when Herring, who generated her fifth and sixth assists of the season, crossed a ball to the right side where Amber Hermanns finished her second goal of the season at the far post. RCNJ added to the lead in the 25th minute as Herring scored from 25 yards out over Lubonski, on a ball assisted by Kelsey Sutherland.

Herring helped Ramapo make it a 3-0 game 3:52 into the second half, sending a pass to Gabriella DiLiberto on the left side for her third goal of the season. Ramapo added a fourth in the 73rd frame with Gabrielle Gentilucci scoring for the first time with Skyler Rybacki chipping in a helper.

Seven players had multiple shots for RCNJ, which put 14 of its chances on net. Herring  led the hosts with four shots (two on goal).  Sophomore Catarina Teodosio (Newark, NJ/East Side) had two of NJCU's three shots with one on frame.
