Strong First Half Sparks CSI Over NJCU, 6-1

STATEN ISLAND, NY (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The College of Staten Island scored three times on its first five shots of the game and knocked off the  New Jersey City University men's soccer team, 6-1, on September 16 at the CSI Soccer Complex.
 
Staten Island (1-6) won its first game of the season while sending the Gothic Knights (1-5) to its third straight setback. CSI held an 18-12 margin in shots.

CSI saw six different players score and produced the first five goals of the game before the Knights finally got on the board in the 71st minute when freshman forward Reggie Nyema (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central), playing in his second game since joining the team midyear, got in the goal column for the first time.
