UNION, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Kean University attacked with 42 shots, scoring on three opportunities in the first half and defeated the
New Jersey City University men's soccer team, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference under the lights on October 12 at Kean Alumni Stadium.

Kean (13-3, 4-2 NJAC) won its fourth in a row, striking 21 shots in each half and finishing with a 42-10 margin in opportunities. NJCU (8-6-1, 0-6-0 NJAC) was shutout for the fourth time in six conference games. Kean posted its 10th shutout of the season and fourth in a row.

Despite facing the most shots given up by NJCU since at least 2000, freshman goalkeeper
Adam Cassidy (Jersey City, N.J./County Prep) made 11 saves—his third double-digit effort of the season.

Kamsi Udodi scored twice after
Michael Vargas tallied the first goal for Kean. The Cougars netted two goals in a span of 1:47 in the 25th and 27th minutes to break open a scoreless game.
Bryce Horn made five saves for his fourth shutout, running the Cougars scoreless minutes streak to 361:04.

Alex Noriega assisted on both goals at 24:03 and 26:01 while
Kazari Trought also notched an assist as two players helped set up the game-winning goal.
Jake Santos also had an assist for Kean.

- Series: 58th meeting. Kean leads the all-time series, 37-18-3, and has won the last three meetings.
- The previous season high for opponent shots was 36 by The College of New Jersey on September 24.
