New Jersey City University baseball team equaled its highest-scoring inning in known history, scoring 12 in the eighth inning, as the Gothic Knights rolled past Mount Saint Mary College (NY), 21-9, on March 30 at Dutchess Stadium.

NJCU won its fourth straight game to even its record at 5-5 heading into the start of New Jersey Athletic Conference play this weekend. Clutching a 9-6 lead after seven innings, NJCU sent 17 men to the plate and scored 10 consecutive runs without an out being recorded.
