(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University pounded out 22 hits, including 10 by three promising freshmen in the starting lineup, but in a see-saw battle tied at 10-10, Saint Vincent College scored three times in the seventh and closed out the Gothic Knights, 15-12, in game two of the 2017 spring trip on March 5 at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.

NJCU (0-2) had eight players collect multiple hits, led by freshman third baseman
Steven Ramos (Perth Amboy, N.J./Perth Amboy). He drove in four runs, batting 3-for-5 in his first collegiate game and freshman designated hitter
Lenin Gomez (Edison, N.J./Edison) was 4-for-5 (one run, one RBI). Freshman left fielder
Bill Feehan (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) had three more hits (3-for-5) with two RBIs and now has seven hits in his first two collegiate games.

Jeff Reinecke (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) batted 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBIs while senior right fielder
Joe Coutinho (Colonia, N.J./Colonia) batted 3-for-5 with two runs scored.

Nick Ruscingno (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck), senior shortstop
Zach Buchholz (Colonia, N.J./JFK Memorial-Iselin) and senior catcher

Greg Martin, who notched seven saves last season for Saint Vincent (1-0), started the game at designated hitter, where he had three RBIs, highlighted by a two-run home run, and scored three times while walking twice.

Bobby Finn produced a 4-for-5 effort with two runs and two RBIS.
