MAHWAH, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Ramapo College held a 43-8 halftime advantage before defeating the
New Jersey City University women's basketball team, 71-25, on January 13 inside the Bill Bradley Center.

The Roadrunners (5-11, 2-7 NJAC) shot 56 percent from the floor overall (32-57) while limiting the Gothic Knights (0-11, 0-8 NJAC) to 18 percent shooting (10-55). NJCU lost despite a season-low 13 turnovers. NJCU was outrebounded, 42-29, while Ramapo's bench showed their depth outscoring NJCU's bench, 57-8.

For NJCU, sophomore forward
Kayla Clarke (East Rutherford, NJ/Becton Regional) scored all six of her points from beyond the arc. Freshman forward/center
Gianna Benacquista (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) and freshman guard
Arielle Cortes (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) collected four points each.

In all, 15 different Roadrunners saw action in Saturday's game with 13 of them registering at least two points, with 13 more grabbing a rebound and 12 contributing an assist. Senior Forward
Kelly McNulty (Manalapan, N.J.) led the way for Ramapo with 14 points (7-10 FG) and dished out four assists in 18 minutes off the bench. Junior forward
Jenna McDonnell (Jackson, N.J.) chipped in eight points (4-7 FG) and grabbed a game-high six rebounds (five defensive), while
Jillian Artrip (Cornwall, N.Y.) added all nine of her points (3-4 3FG) from beyond the arc.
