New Jersey City University women's basketball team, 73-10, on January 17 inside the John J. Moore Athletic and Fitness Center ("Charlie Brown Court").

The Scarlet Raiders (7-10, 2-8 NJAC) shot 56 percent from the floor overall (32-57) while outrebounding the Gothic Knights (0-12, 0-9 NJAC), 65-16. NJCU shot 4-of-53 in the loss.

For Rutgers-Newark, senior forward
Nikki Sammartino (North Arlington N.J.) achieved a double-double by grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds and scored 14 points (6-6 FG). Junior guard Faith Ashby
(Teaneck, N.J.) also chipped in 14 points (6-6 FG), dished out six assists, and forced five steals in 16 minutes of action, while sophomore guard
Hannah Ashby (Teaneck, N.J. ) contributed 13 points and grabbed five boards.
