GALLOWAY, N.J. — The New Jersey City University women's volleyball team dropped a three-set New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match on the road on Thursday night, Sept. 22, at Stockton University.
The Gothic Knights (6-4, 1-2 NJAC) were led once again by senior right-side
Paola Toledo (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/Colegio Catolico San Rafael), who finished her night wth five kills and just one error on 19 swings (.211 hitting percentage), adding five digs and two blocks. Sophomore outside
Rachael Pharo (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) had a strong night against the Ospreys (6-4, 1-1 NJAC), finishing with four kills, eight digs, three assists and an ace.

Dayshia Espinosa (El Paso, Texas/Pebble Hills) tied the match high with a pair of aces and notched a block, as well. Other standouts for NJCU were senior libero
Katrina Nguyendon (Union, N.J./Union) and junior setter
Sydney Lore (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee). The former led all players with a match-best 11 digs, while the latter dished out a team-high 10 assists, notched three digs, two kills and an ace.
