Clark Leads the Gothic Knights at the John Thomas Terrier Classic

BOSTON, MA - The New Jersey City University men's track and field team took part in the 2025 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic. 

Christian Palmer led the trio of runners for the Gothic Knights in the 60m dash with a time of 7.44, good for 39th. Kenny Balisage (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Park) finished 56th with a time of 7.86 followed by Anthony El Helou (Beirut, Lebanon/Kfarchima) who crossed in 8.04. 

In the 400m, Pratt Charles (Jersey City, N.J./University Charter) placed 16th with a time of 49.61 while Isaiah Ramirez (Edison, N.J./John P. Stevens) took 39th with a time of 50.79 along with Gerard Victor (Irvington, N.J./Payne Tech) (80th, 52.67). Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side High School) finished the 800m in 2:07.08. In the 4x400 relay, the quad of Charles, Victor, Palmer, and Ramirez ran a time of 3:28.57. 

In the field events, Sirell Clark (Jersey City, N.J./University Academy Charter) gave the Gothic Knights their highest finish of the day, finishing in 3rd in the weight throw with a toss of 13.15m. Clark's toss of 13.15m is the second-highest in school history. Daniel Jackson (Jersey City, N.J./Lincoln) placed 25th in the shot put with a throw of 10.37m.
