Henderson Paces NJCU Track & Field at AARTFC

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA | The New Jersey City University (NJCU) track and field program took part in the All Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships (AARTFC) hosted by Williams on Wednesday and Thursday. 

Pratt Charles (Jersey City, N.J./University Charter) paced the men with a 10th place finish in the 400m, finishing with a time of 48.21 while Isaiah Ramirez (Edison, N.J./John P. Stevens) placed 26th, finishing with a time of 49.45. The quad of Christan Palmer (Union, N.J./Union), Isaiah Ramirez (Edison, N.J./John P. Stevens), Kameron McGainey (Union, N.J./Union) and Pratt Charles (Jersey City, N.J./University Charter) recorded a time of 44.12 in the 4x100 preliminaries. 

On the women's side, Reyanna Henderson (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Two) had three top 10 finishes on the day. Henderson placed 7th in the 100m finals with a time of 12.44 before recording her highest placement of the day in the 200m. In the 200m, Henderson placed 4th, crossing the finish line in 24.66, good for the 6th fastest time in program history. Her day wasn't done there as she took 6th in the 400m with a time of 56.30, good for the 2nd fastest time in NJCU track & field history.
