NEW YORK, N.Y. | The New Jersey City University (NJCU) men's and women's track and field squads raced at the New York University (NYU) D3 Invitational on Saturday, February 14.

For the women, Raven Orange (Carteret, N.J./Carteret) placed eighth in the 60m finals with a time of 8.16. Tonna Ogina (North Brunswick, N.J./Highland Park) finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.07m.

On the men's side, Pratt Charles (Jersey City, N.J./University Charter) led all of the Gothic Knights with a first-place finish in the 400m, recording a time of 50.16. Thad Liddell took 20th in the 60m with a time of 7.82, while Dequan Brown was close behind with a time of 7.86.

Isaiah Ramiirez placed 27th in the 200m with a time of 23.18. In the 800m, Goncalo Carvalho (Newark, N.J./East Side) placed 21st, crossing the finish line in 2:02.49. Peter Chrysler (Trenton, N.J./Highland Regional) finished 52nd in the mile, recording a time of 5:47.21. In the field events, David Dewberry (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) placed 11th in the long jump with a distance of 6.16m. Johnair Gonzalez (Jersey City, N.J./William L. Dickinson) placed 22nd in the same event, leaping 5.69m.
