Sophomore All-American EBONY BARNES (Elizabeth, NJ/Elizabeth) has been selected as the NJCU Women's Athlete of the Week after winning the 100-meter dash at the Osprey Open hosted by Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ on April 7.

She finished first among 22 sprinters in winning the 100-meters in 12.75 seconds—8/100^th faster than the rest of the field.

She has been named the NJCU Women's Athlete of the Week three times this athletic year, also claiming the honor on February 26 and March 5.
