New Jersey City University Athletics

Senior VICKI SPRATFORD (Hopelawn, NJ/Woodbridge) is the NJCU Women's Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season and the 12th time in her career, as she heloed lead the nationally #6 ranked NJCU women's bowling team to a two-day overall record of 10-1 and second placed second of 20 schools at the Bowie State Invitational. NJCU climbed from fourth to second place on the final day.

 

Individually, Spratford, a three-time All-American, earned All-Tournament Team honors as she placed third of 127 athletes with a six-game pinfall of 1,278 (226-255-193-196-196-212) and a 213.00 average.  She had the fourth highest average, highlighted by the 255 against St. Paul’s. It was the fourth time this season Spratford has achieved better than a 250.
