For Starters:
NJCU faces one of the top defensive teams in the league in a home New Jersey Athletic Conference game. It is the first of four consecutive home NJAC games to close the season. The Ospreys have outscored opponents, 36-7, and posted 11 shutouts.

#GothicRewind—NJCU Falls to Ramapo
Cassie Lubonski made 10 saves against her old team but Ramapo outshot the Gothic Knights on Wednesday, October 14, 23-3, and prevailed, 4-0. RCNJ led 2-0 at halftime, with goals in the eighth and 25th minutes. Catarina Teodosio had two of NJCU's three shots with one on frame.

Lubonski Standing Tough
Senior goalkeeper Cassie Lubonski has reached double digits in saves six times this season with a high of 15 against FDU-Florham (September 2). She has had at least nine saves in all five NJAC games thus far. She leads the league in saves per game (8.69) and total saves with 113—46 more than any other players. She ranks 32nd nationally in total saves and 40th in saves per game.

Four Score Trends:
NJCU has been involved in six games that have resulted in a 4-0 final. NJCU has won once and lost five times by that outcome.

Merino Impressing:
Katherin Merino has been NJCU's offensive leader all year. One of the top offensive newcomers in the league, she leads the conference in shots per game (4.58), ranks second in total shots (55, one shy of the league lead), and lists ninth in points (15), 10th in points per game (1.25) and goals (6) and 11th in goals per game (0.50). She is also seventh in game-winning goals (2) and assists (3) and eighth in assists per game (0.25).

Stockton Notes:
  • Stockton is unbeaten in its last four games.
  • The Ospreys are coming off an impressive 2-0 road shutout of NJAC power Rowan in Glassboro on October 14. It was Stockton's first conference win because four of its other games have ended in draws, including 0-0 ties with #25 Montclair State and at #16 TCNJ.
  • Stockton ranks second in the league in least goals allowed (7) and in goals against average (0.42)—behind only TCNJ which ranks No. 1 in the country in both categories (1 goal against, 0.07 GAA). Stockton is also second in the league in total shutouts (11) behind TCNJ (12). Stockton ranks in the Top 25 nationally in goals against average and shutout percentage.
  • Stockton freshman Nicole Pallante is a two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week this season (week 2 and 4). She has a 0.45 goals against average, lists second in the NJAC in shutouts and is fourth in the league in saves.
