#GothicRewind—NJCU Falls in Moved Game:Freshman
Odelia Cordova netted her first collegiate goal in the 71st minute to get the Gothic Knights on the board but based on two early and two late tallies and a 27-2 advantage in shots, Rutgers University-Newark took a New Jersey Athletic Conference women's soccer game from NJCU, 5-1, in a game played in the rain at Alumni Field on October 3. Originally scheduled as a home game, it was moved from NJCU's grass complex to Newark's turf field due to days of rain.
Cristina Estremera had a hat trick for RUN. Sophomore back
Catarina Teodosio had her first career assist in the game.
Lubonski Standing ToughUnder heavy pressure in the loss to Rutgers-Newark, senior goalkeeper
Cassie Lubonski notched 14 saves—one shy of her career high of 15 at FDU-Florham on September 2. It was her fourth career effort of double figure saves.
