Sophomore MARC ROBINSON (Maplewood, NJ/St. Benedict’s Prep) is the NJCU Men's Athlete of the Week for the third time in his career and has also been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for week eight of the 2009 season. It marks the second time in his outdoor career he has been named the NJAC’s top track athlete.

On May 9 at the 2009 NYC Qualifying Challenge at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, Robinson provisionally qualified for the NCAA Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship in the 200-meter dash, placing sixth overall among 14 in the finals in 21.70 seconds, surpassing the NCAA standard of 21.80. It is the 21^st fastest time in Division III this year. He also was 10^th of 52 in the preliminaries in 22.05 seconds.
