JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | With a historic snowstorm preparing to bear down on the region, Monday night's non-conference 7 p.m. men's basketball road game against the University of Valley Forge (formerly Valley Forge Christian College), has been postponed.
 
The game has been rescheduled for Monday, February 16 at 7 p.m. That Presidents' Day contest will also be held in Phoenixville, Pa.
 
The game, which will be NJCU's final regular season non-conference game of the season, will be the first meeting between the clubs on the Valley Forge campus. NJCU leads the all-time series, 2-0.
 
Ironically, it's the second year in a row a matchup between NJCU and Valley Forge has been snowed out (February 3, 2014).
 
Meanwhile, with the blizzard being unpredictable, if NJCU's home New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader against William Paterson University scheduled for Wednesday, January 28 is impacted by the weather, the league's snow date is Monday, February 2.
