For Starters: NJCU and Wheaton play a non-conference game tonight in the first-ever meeting between both schools. It is only the second-ever meeting between NJCU and a member of the NEWMAC conference. The only other meeting in its history with a member of that league was a 76-52 loss to Clark University (Mass.) in Salem, Mass. on a neutral court on December 29, 2000.
#GothicRewind—NJCU Falls to Unbeaten RowanIn its last action on December 5, unbeaten Rowan jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first 3:45 of the first half and led by 22 at the end of the first quarter, defeating NJCU, 88-45, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game. Rowan converted 36 field goals in the win. In defeat for NJCU, freshman guard
Christine Bizub (Fort Lee, NJ/Fort Lee) tallied a career-high 11 points, knocking down 3-of-5 three-point tries (4-8 3FG).in 16 minutes. Sophomore power forward/center
Sharaunda Fiedtkou (West Orange, NJ/Bayonne) finished with a career-high 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting and grabbed six rebounds.

Johnson is averaging a near double-double of 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds, but she has seen her rebounding average dip from 9.3 in the last two games.

The Knights are averaging 25.0 turnovers per game but have forced 22.3 per contest. However, NJCU has not made up for it in the scoring column. Wheaton Tidbits: - Wheaton (Mass.), located in Norton, Mass, between Boston and Providence, is a member of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference. Other members of the NEWMAC include Babson, Clark, Coast Guard, Emerson, MIT, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Springfield, Wellesley and WPI. Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley are women-only institutions, meaning the league has eight teams in most men's sports and 11 in women's athletics.

She set a school record with 24 rebounds in a win over Newbury earlier this season and has scored over 1,000 career points. She leads the club with a near double-double of 17.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per tilt. She has 124 points in seven games. She is shooting near 50 percent from the field (52-106) and 80 percent at the line (20-25).
