JERSEY CITY, NJ (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Three days after the Gothic Knight men's basketball team fended off an opposing player named [John] Snow and Rutgers-Newark to reclaim sole possession of first place in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, snow again is entering the picture. With a monster winter storm and blizzard approaching the region,
New Jersey City University has postponed its home NJAC basketball doubleheader with rival Kean University, scheduled for Saturday, January 23 at 5 and 7 p.m.
The first snow date on the conference calendar is the makeup date—Monday, February 1 at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center (Coach Charlie Brown Court). The women will tip at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8 p.m.
To make room for the NJAC twin bill, NJCU's non-conference home men's game against University of Valley Forge scheduled for February 1 at 7 p.m. has been bumped back one week and will be played on Monday, February 8 at 7 p.m. in Jersey City, NJ.
Additionally, the NJCU men's basketball alumni game slated for January 23 will be rescheduled for Saturday, February 13 at 10 a.m.
