NJCU Basketball vs. Rowan Postponed Due to Snow; JMAC Closed

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University's scheduled New Jersey Athletic Conference basketball doubleheader against Rowan University on Saturday, January 7 (1/3 p.m.) at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center has been postponed due to snow. With the forecast expected to worsen through the afternoon, the JMAC also closed at noon to the public.

NJCU and Rowan will makeup the twinbill on Monday, January 9 in Jersey City. The women's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m. It is the first postponement of the 2016-17 season.

It also sets up a tough week of basketball for the Gothic Knights. In addition to the makeup with Rowan on January 9, NJCU heads to Galloway, NJ to face Stockton on Wednesday, January 11 before hosting Ramapo on Saturday, January 14.
