EWING, N.J. (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | The first snowstorm of the 2017-18 season has forced the postponement of New Jersey City University's basketball doubleheader at The College of New Jersey on December 9.
 
The New Jersey Athletic Conference twinbill between No. 23 NJCU and TCNJ will be made up in January during the first snow date of the season. That date is currently slated to be Monday, January 29 at 8 p.m. in Ewing.
 
With the postponement, the Gothic Knight men are idle until a matchup of 2017 NCAA Tournament qualifiers when NJCU visits Albertus Magnus on Saturday, December 16 (3 p.m.) in New Haven, Conn. NJCU will be seeking a school record by starting a season at 9-0 for the first time in the 85-year history of the program.
