The 1990 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Year Del Harrison started on teams which posted a combined record of 90-21 (81%). He was selected to the NJAC first team in 1988, 1989, and 1990; the New Jersey Basketball Writers All-State team in 1988, 1989, and 1990; and the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association team in 1989 and 1990. He is the second leading scorer in JCSC history with 2, 011 points and led the team in scoring in 1988, 1989 and 1990.

 

Harrison averaged an impressive 18.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for his career. As a junior, he averaged 20.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, helping his team to a 24-4 record and an NCAA tournament berth. As a senior, Harrison averaged 18.2 points and 6.6 rebounds to lead the team to a 25-3 record, an NJAC title and an NCAA tournament berth. With a career field goal percentage of 59.7, he ranks first among JCSC top 10 all- time scorers. His coach, Charles Brown, states that he was one of the finest defensive players ever in the NJAC. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from JCSC in 1991. Harrison teaches life skills classes at Somerset Hills School in Warren, NJ. A resident of Plainfield, he also serves as the boys junior varsity basketball coach and the assistant boys soccer coach at Plainfield High School.
