Considered one of the finest all-around athletes in Gothic history. A three year member of the soccer team (1964-66), he was named to the New Jersey State College Athletic Conference first team as a goalie in both 1965 and 1966 when he led his team to successive 8-1 and 9-1-1 records. During his three year career, Gothic teams had a record of 24-4-1 overall and 11-3-1 within the conference; however, the teams finished second in those years to Trenton State who twice won the NAIA National Championship. A versatile athlete, he also started in baseball for four years, playing third base and the outfield. Tom hit .315 in 1966.
