New Jersey City University Athletics

A member of both the men’s basketball and tennis teams, Will today is a nationally known authority on teaching and training football quarterbacks and receivers. His National USA Quarterback and Receiver Camps have helped to produce professional standouts such as Doug Flutie, Paul McDonald, and James Lofton.

He is author of numerous publications on quarterbacking and receiving, as well as hot air ballooning. Additionally, Will is the co-author of the College Alma Mater “Green and Gold.”

The Dr. Will Hayes scholarship for academic excellence is awarded annually. Will is also a major financial contributor to the Jersey City State College athletic department.

Dr. Hayes was awarded an honorary doctorate degree at the College’s 1985 commencement.
