Celeste enjoyed a successful riding career for four years, winning ten invitational Challenge Cup Championships. She was the Regional Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (ISHA) Overall High Point Rider of the Year in 1976 and 1978, and was the Reserve Regional IHSA Overall High Point Rider of the Year in 1977 and 1979. In 1977, Celeste was also the Reserve National Open Horsemanship Over Fences Champion. In each of her four years, she was selected as a national ISHA finalist representing Region I in Open Horsemanship in the Flat and over fences categories. Considered one of the best equestrians in JCSC history, Celeste served as the team coach for three years. She is currently attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, pursuing her degree as an Equine Medical Practitioner with a specialization in Sports Medicine.
