A four-year starter for Ollie Gelston, Ed tossed in a total of 1,148 career points – ninth-best in the school’s history. As a senior in 1966, “Mr. Hustle” was selected as a second team All-Conference player after tallying 433 points for a 20.6 per-game average.

Currently with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ed was an integral part of two conference championship teams (1964-1965). His winning basket against Plattsburg State College gave the Gothics the NAIA District 31 post-season tournament championship in 1964.
