Debbie was a standout as a varsity basketball player for four years while attending Jersey City State College. A 1982 graduate, Debbie was first team All-NJAIAW Division III in the 1979-80 and 1980-81 seasons. She is currently third on the all-time scoring list with 1,231 points. She also holds the school career assist record with 515. In addition to playing basketball, Debbie was also a member of the women’s varsity softball team. She led the nation in doubles per game and was second in the country in stolen bases per game with a 1.19 average in 1982. Debbie is currently a branch manager for Hobart Corporation in Albany, New York.
